.In order to help co-ordinate food and project attendance, we're now offering online registration. You can buy admission tickets for a single day at $7, or pay $12 if planning to attend both the Friday (Sept 16) and Saturday (Sept 17). Otherwise, we'll still offer tickets at the door at an increased price of $8/day.
You can also add meals as part of your online registration. We'll be ordering Subway sandwich platters of 4" subs for lunches (~1pm), and personal-size pizzas from Pizza Hut for dinners (~6pm). Meals are optional, as attendees are welcome to bring their own food to the venue. However, if you would like to buy meals, we strongly encourage you to add them as part of your online registration, as we'll need numbers to submit these orders to Subway and Pizza Hut in advance. There will be limited opportunity to increase the size of the order during the event. If you want to commemorate the event, consider buying a Kanata Con 2016 T-shirt. T-shirts must be picked up at Kanata Con. We will not be offering a shipping option. The same will apply to tickets. Please print and bring the email confirmation receipt as your admissions ticket. Unfortunately the checkout process will prompt for shipping address, which may be misleading, but simply a byproduct of the service we're using for the registration process. Our website has a contact form, so if you run into difficulties, feel free to use that as a means to contact us. Look forward to seeing everyone at this year's Kanata Con!

We've started planning for this year's Kanata Con and already have some dates! So book some time off work and come join us for some great open gaming on Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17. More details will be forthcoming.
We're planning to offer online registration this year, and some other great new goodies. But if you have any ideas that you'd like to see, or want to volunteer, feel free to use our contact form to reach out! This week's session started off slow, back to our typical mulling around trying to decide what to play. I believe it was a smaller group as well, with perhaps people taking vacations with what summer we have left. But another week, and another good set of games played.
Whoops, forgot to write a blog post for last week, and have forgotten most of what happened. Seems like our attendance has picked up over the past few weeks with a number of new people joining our ranks, and we have no idea what has caused this sudden influx. This week was no different, continuing the trend of a solid turnouts.
Another week and another great turn out. Every week it appears we are seeing new people coming to check us out. This week we had another four new faces by my count. More people means a greater variety of games hitting the tables, which is great to see.
One of our biggest turnouts this week, and a number of new faces again. Seems like word is getting out and new blood is joining our ranks. Uncharacteristically, a decisive start to the night occurred as a number of people knew what they wanted to play, and 2-3 tables were set up and going before even 6pm.
