Kanata Con 2022

What is it?
Kanata Con is a local board game convention that has been held annually since 2013 (with the exception of a two-year Covid hiatus).
The two day event will feature open gaming, an extensive board game library, dedicated space for 18xx games, door prizes, demonstrations of some of the hobby’s hottest new games and, of course, our ever-popular consignment/garage sale.
All are welcome to attend.
To protect our attendees all attendees are expected to follow our Code of Conduct and a mask will be required.

How do I Register?
- Advance registration on-line (instructions below)
- Advance registration at one of our regular Tuesday night meetups. Just ask one of the organizers.
- In-person at the door (to help ensure community safety as best as we can ticket sales will be limited so grab advance tickets if you can)
How do I register in advance on-line?

- E-mail [email protected] with your name, e-mail address and number of each type of ticket you’d like: 2 day pass, Friday pass or Saturday pass.
- We will e-mail you back with the total fee and Interac instructions.
- Send Interac money transfer as instructed.
- We will send you a receipt for your purchase. Please bring your receipt to the event to pick up your tickets.
- Pick up your tickets at the Kanata Con front desk the day of the event.
Consignment Sale
.This year the consignment sale will be open on October 1. Purchasing will be cash only.
For buyers the sale will run from 9am-noon for Con attendees and from 9:30-noon for buyers without a convention ticket.
For sellers, games you wish to sell should be dropped off by 9pm on Friday September 30th. Your unsold games and the proceeds from the sales of your games can be picked up on Saturday October 1st between 1 and 2 pm.
You can participate as a buyer or seller or both.

Meals
There won't be food provided at this Con, but the venue is well-positioned with plenty of nearby food options. So either pop out for your meals, and come back, or feel free to bring your own food.
