Role Playing Games
Kanata Con is pleased to introduce role playing games to our con hosted by The Orchitect.
This year Kanata Con will be adding something new. We will offer three role playing sessions in a private room in the basement. The games will be hosted by The Orchitect. You can learn more about his services on his website The Orchitect. The Game Master Orchitect, Marty, has over 8 years of experience running Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, Pathfinder 1st edition, and 2nd edition. Marty has a breadth of knowledge in running games of all shapes and sizes.

Mystery in Silver Shine Mountains
Time: Friday: 5-9pm Location: Basement room System: DnD 2024 Standard Array Stats Character Level: 3, pre-made characters available Players: 5 Description: Your traveling band was making their way to the small village Camoré but the Silver Shine Mountains but there are no signs of life as you approach. You come across a group of children looking for safety and help. **Traditional Fantasy Adventuring** Registration Link: Register for Friday 5pm D&D session Cancellation policy: Many role playing games require a minimum number of players. If the event's host finds that not enough players have registered to make for a meaningful experience for the registered players the event may be cancelled. We will make this decision on Saturday October 10. All registrants will be contacted if the event is cancelled. |

The Temple of Enduring Strength Time: Saturday: 11am-3pm (Note: the 11am and 3pm games are the same adventure) Location: Basement room System: Shadowdark Gauntlet mode. (Shadowdark is a rules light system similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Come Embrace the laughter of comical death.) Character Level: 0, characters provided Players: 5 Description: The Temple of Enduring Strength has been overtaken by monsters and creatures looking to corrupt your clan's god. Those who clear the temple will be given the highest honour and rewards by clan elders. **This game is set to the themes of comedic horror and death. Do not get too attached to your character.** Registration Link: Register for Saturday 11am Shadowdark RPG session Cancellation policy: Many role playing games require a minimum number of players. If the event's host finds that not enough players have registered to make for a meaningful experience for the registered players the event may be cancelled.
