Reminder: Starting next week, we've moved our weekly meetups from Thursdays to Tuesdays.
Other than the day change, everything else should be the same: we'll still be at the same location. The only other small difference will be James will likely be the one managing the opening & closing for Steve's off-weeks going forward.
New this year, we're adding an additional day to this weekend of open gaming. Sunday will be held at a different venue, just around the corner at the Glen Cairn Community Centre. We'll open at 9am, but will only run til 5pm, so come early to maximize your day of gaming.
Kanata Con is back for another year, bigger than ever! New this year, we'll be running an extra day (Thurs), so book your calendars for 3 days of good ol' open board gaming fun. September 13-15.
Only a month away: September 15 and 16. Book that Friday off, and come join us for all day open gaming!
Returning to basics: we won't be operating online registration this year. Just show up; admissions will be collected at the door.

.In order to help co-ordinate food and project attendance, we're now offering online registration. You can buy admission tickets for a single day at $7, or pay $12 if planning to attend both the Friday (Sept 16) and Saturday (Sept 17). Otherwise, we'll still offer tickets at the door at an increased price of $8/day.
You can also add meals as part of your online registration. We'll be ordering Subway sandwich platters of 4" subs for lunches (~1pm), and personal-size pizzas from Pizza Hut for dinners (~6pm). Meals are optional, as attendees are welcome to bring their own food to the venue. However, if you would like to buy meals, we strongly encourage you to add them as part of your online registration, as we'll need numbers to submit these orders to Subway and Pizza Hut in advance. There will be limited opportunity to increase the size of the order during the event.
If you want to commemorate the event, consider buying a Kanata Con 2016 T-shirt. T-shirts must be picked up at Kanata Con. We will not be offering a shipping option. The same will apply to tickets.
Please print and bring the email confirmation receipt as your admissions ticket. Unfortunately the checkout process will prompt for shipping address, which may be misleading, but simply a byproduct of the service we're using for the registration process.

We've started planning for this year's Kanata Con and already have some dates! So book some time off work and come join us for some great open gaming on Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17. More details will be forthcoming.
