Why not bring them along? We'll have some kid friendly gaming happening in the morning and afternoon. You are welcome to team up with your kids in a game of Forbidden Island or Star Wars: X Wing, or let the kids fight it out in a game of Heroscape or Summoner Wars while you fight for the universe in a game of Twilight Imperium III or Eclipse. We'll have lots of games for the kids to choose from. We do ask that anyone who brings a child remain to play games as well.
Kanata Board Gamers will be hosting our first ever home-grown, full day, open gaming session on September 14. We will have a number of people running various games if you feel like trying a game or two; or for the adventurous, enter the Great Canadian Board Game Blitz, to test your mettle across a marathon of games.
It will be held at the Kanata Community Christian Reformed Church with admission at $5 per person. More details will follow, so stay tuned! |
